About job
- Lead the system-level integration and validation for new robotic platforms across hardware and software subsystems.
- Map out and document system architectures spanning mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software domains.
- Build early prototypes to validate technical concepts and mitigate risks.
- Develop custom testing frameworks, automation software, and diagnostic tools to monitor system performance.
- Execute comprehensive test plans for sensing, control, and motion capabilities from initial bring-up to production.
- Investigate, triage, and debug complex cross-functional issues during the design and deployment phases.
Skills and Requirements
- Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, EE, ME, or CE (Bachelor's with 5+ years, or Master's with 3+ years of experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on industrial experience integrating, commissioning, and validating complex electromechanical systems.
- Strong programming proficiency in C++ and Python for system-level automation and data analysis.
- Deep understanding of overall robotic architecture, including computing, sensing, actuation, and control mechanisms.
- Practical experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, EtherCAT, Ethernet, serial interfaces).
- Proficient in navigating Linux environments and debugging embedded systemsAbout company
